"We live down the street from Junior's, and I love their food. Their macaroni and cheese is divine, while not "fancy" (there are no breadcrumbs, no fancy cheeses, no gourmet ingredients), their combination of what I kind of recognize as cheddar, american (for the easy melting factor, I believe), and cottage cheese (you can see the curds in the dish, as well as tasting a tang that is recognizable as cottage cheese- and I also asked the server who confirmed my cheesy suspicions) is a remarkable combination, one that leaves me craving more after my dish has been licked clean. While it's not uncommon for kids to adore mac and cheese, my daughter is a huge fan of Junior's version of it, and the lack of bread crumbs and a hard baked cheese topping make it easier for her to eat (she's two), and although much more expensive than the blue boxed bargain mac and cheese, at least I know what's in it- and it isn't Red #4 or whatever."

"What do I love here?  This is what I love: Burger in an onion pocket - a huge burger, smothered with cheese and grilled onions and russian dressing. OMG.  With coleslaw or fries, or even just alone - because anything more on my plate will put me over the edge into I-Can't-Breathe-Land. Lox, bagels, cream cheese, with red onion, cucumber, lettuce, Kalamata olives - enough for 2 people to be stuffed on - need I say more? Chicken in a pot -  like a tureen of soup big enough for 3, with chicken, matzoh balls, noodles, rice and kreplach, and rye ends with butter.....ooof Potato knish - pastry baked with smashed potatoes inside, with gravy please!

"When I think of Jewish Deli, I think of Junior's...Jr's serves the best matzo ball soup.  And I love love the BBQ brisket sandwich and the french dip sandwich!  YUMMO!  The dill pickles rock!  Yes, I agree with the other reviews, it is a bit pricey.  But hey, you want to see an over priced deli, then go to Jerry's Deli!"

"Now when I'm sick, I'm craving for their matzo ball chicken noodle soup. It's something what my mother would make for me, if I'm sick. It has a good healthy flavor, not salty and very flavorful. The other good thing I had is (I don't remember name of it), a cabbage wrapped ground beef with a tad sweet tomato sauce. You should try this, this is so delicious.  Ah, and their blintz! is so lovely. It's like crepes, but better."

"Came with five people and were seated right away on a Friday night after the movies across the street at the Landmark Westside Pavillion. Our server was very attentive and brought refills and made sure everything is ok. Our meat was perfect and the service was friendly and prompt. Having ate at Factors, Nate and Als and Cantors this is as good as the other delis in my opinion. I will definitely return here whether before or after a movie."

"The best potatoe latkes( pancakes) around. I usually order them here for Hannukah parties. Junior doesn't skimp on the meat in the sandwiches here. That is a very good thing, especially if you are looking for 1/2 pound of very good meat to consume."
